What was once thought of as a long shot after he committed to LSU back in January of this year, the number one player in the class of 2025 is staying home.
Bryce Underwood, a product of Belleville High School, flipped his commitment to Michigan a day after his teammate at Belleville, Elijah Dotson, did the same. Was the Dotson flip the reason he switched up? Most likely not, but it was probably all part of a plan the two friends had. The new commitment of Underwood gives the University of Michigan a player who is going to be coming to the school off of a down year. Underwood’s commitment looks to signal a change in how Head Coach Sherrone Moore wants to run his team. Under former Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, the Identity of the Michigan offense was to run the ball, but now, with this signing, it looks like they will start throwing the ball more.
With Underwood now in the fold at Michigan, it looks like others will start to follow the five-star Quarterback.
