While the two teams played a close first half, it was anything but that in the second half. After halftime, we saw a different Rouge team, as they would go on to win the game by a final score of 81-52.

While they hung in there for the first half, the physical beating they took in that first half showed up in the second. It was an 11-point game at the half, and they had a good showing. However, when the second half came around, you could see that the Flat Rock team was already tired. While they went fast to try and come back, that is where they made their mistakes. They started fouling and turning the ball over, and that is where the wheels fell off. Flat Rock will get a second shot at River Rouge later this season.

While CJ Hearns was the star of the show, it was a full-team effort, as the Riverview Rouge Panthers had four players score in double digits. Not only were they able to score, but they also outrebounded Flat Rock by 14 and forced Flat Rock to turn the ball over a crazy high 20 times. If the Panthers can keep up this play, they will make some noise come playoff time.
