Cold as the Day is Long
The first and third quarters are the quarters that the Woodhaven Warriors want to forget. In the first, they were outscored 15-6; four of those points came late in the quarter, and in the third, they were outscored 14-3. They were tied or ahead of the Jaguars the rest of the time. The Warriors came out slow to start both halves, which did them in.
Allen Park Jaguars
Unselfish Play
This might be one of the best Allen Park Jaguars teams that we’ve seen in a long time. This Jaguars team is unselfish and plays with nothing to lose on the court. While Brandon Powell is the star of the show, and rightfully so, he has two more phenomenal players by his side, Jack Labiak and Weston Glei. Glei and Labiak can also take over the game if needed, which leads to this team’s unselfish play. However, beyond those three, the rest of the team knows their role and will do what they need to so they can all pull in the same direction. Glei finished the game with 19 points, Powell had 16, and Labiak had 17. It’s not a one-man show at Allen Park, but it’s a complete team effort, and with them playing so well, they will be a dangerous team come the playoffs.
