The Chargers of Inter-City Baptist welcomed the Southfield Christian Eagles for a rematch of an instant classic from earlier in the season. It was more of the same, as the Chargers would sweep the season series, with this one being a 64-63 victory for the Chargers on their senior night.

The Inter-City Baptist Chargers had a great second and third quarter in their win over Southfield Christian. The first time these teams met, it was Southfield that dominated the game, and The Chargers weren’t gonna have it this time as they stormed back in the first half this time behind Ethan Esse, but it wasn’t just Esse as Jack Dawson was also hitting his shots to help them outscore Southfield Christian 42-24 in the second and third quarters of the game.

The first time the two schools met this year, Southfield Christian had a big lead at the half and saw it slip away. They had a lead in the first half of this game as well, and they saw that slip away in the second quarter. At the end of the first quarter, they led Inter-City Baptist 20-12. Inter-City would go on to score 22 points in the quarter. While they would battle back and make it a game by outscoring them 19-10 in the fourth, it wasn’t enough to help them get the win.
