Allen Park makes statement as they down Carlson

Coming into week three the Allen Park Jaguars and the Carlson Marauders meet as undefeated teams, both being 2-0. However, It would be the Jaguars leaving as one of two 3-0 teams as they beat the Marauders 42-14.

The game started slow as it was all defense until 18 seconds left in the first quarter as Carlson running back Cody Britt ran it in from 11 yards  for a Carlson touchdown. Allen Park wouldn’t get on the scoreboard until 1:56 in the second on a jet sweep from wide receiver Kevin Lebron for the ten yard score.

That score would give the Marauders the ball back and they would march down the field for a six yard touchdown run by quarterback Eddie Light to give the Marauders a 14-7 lead giving the Jaguars 30 seconds to try and tie the game before halftime, and what would that Jaguars do? They would march the opposite way and with time running out quarterback Ethan Gajewski would find a wide open Emilio Balderas in the back of the endzone to tie the game at 14 with five seconds left in the endzone.

Coming out of the half the Marauders would get the ball to start however, they  would come up empty and it would be all Jaguars from there as they would go on to score four  more times in this one. Gajewski would go on to throw for two more scores as he would find Balderas once more, and he also found Lebron for his third passing touchdown of the game. Gajewski would also run into the endzone for a score, and Ethan Baugh would cap off the scoring for the Jaguars as he ran it in from 50 yards out.

For the Marauders they were led on the night by running back Cody Britt as he would go for 171 yards and a touchdown on the ground. For the Jaguars they had help all around with quarterback Ethan Gajewski going 13 of 16 for 258 yards and three touchdowns he would also add another five yards on the ground and a touchdown to give him four on the night. On his night Gajewski said “Honestly I didn’t have any pressure in the backfield so the credit goes to the O-Line.” Wide Receiver Kevin Lebron would catch all six of his passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, while running one in from 10 yards out. Running Back Sunerio Hamilton would run it 16 times for 133 yards.
