The Allen Park Jaguars and Carlson Marauder met for the second time this season. In the first matchup the Marauders beat the Jaguars by a final of 62-38, however this time the Jaguars got the upper hand as they beat the Marauders by a final of 48-42.
The first half saw the Jaguars take a lead into the half after falling behind five mid way through the second quarter. After that though the Jaguars never looked back.
In the third quarter the Jaguars had an offensive explosion led by Adrien Putnam(15pts) and Max Slate(13pts) that helped boost them to a 13 point lead heading into the fourth.
In the fourth quarter the Marauders tried to come back as Jaishaun Williams paced them with 13 points on the night and seven in the quarter. That just wasn’t enough as the Marauders ran out of time in the end as they started to get hot in the last few moments of the game.
Player of the Game
Tonight’s player of the game goes to Allen Park’s Adrien Putnam who had 15 points in the win. Putnam also added six rebounds and two assists on the night.
