De La Salle’s Phoenix Glassnor was aiming to break the school record for points scored. He entered the game five points away from breaking the record, and his team won by a final of 71-63.

Phoenix Glassnor entered the game against Toledo Central Catholic five points shy of the school record in points. Glassnor entered the game sitting at 1,512 points, and it would only take him two minutes to break the record, as he would hit a three-ball to become the school’s all-time record holder. In the game, Glassnor would finish with 42 points on a night his team won, which was about him and setting a school record.

Toledo Central Catholic hung around in the game for the longest time, but it wasn’t enough. While they did manage to overcome a ten-point lead by De La Salle and take the lead early in the third quarter, they didn’t have enough firepower to slow down Glassnor on his special night.
