Hoops Takeaways: Tecumseh uses a Solid Fourth Quarter Defense to Beat Flat Rock

At the Airport Showcase, the Flat Rock Rams played host to the Tecumseh Indians in a game that was back and forth. While Flat Rock would enter halftime down, they battled back to build a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter. That lead would be lost late in the fourth as the Indians would hold the Rams to eight points for a final of 70-68

Flat Rock

The Graham Show

It was the Graham Junge show for Flat Rock in the loss to Tecumseh. Junge scored 26 points and had 12 rebounds to go with six assists. He led the team in each category. While it was the Graham show, he phenomenally used his support cast members. Michael Giroux and Jordan Godfrey played a big role in the game, as they combined for 26 points. The issue for Flat Rock came in the fourth quarter, where their whole team went cold, and they only scored 8 points to lose the lead they built up in the third.

Keep Fighting

Tecumseh had to fight back to beat Flat Rock. After having the lead going into halftime, they went cold in the third, and with 27 seconds left in the third, they were down 10 and found a way to fight back. The play of Ryan Moseburg and Tyler Clement led them to that comeback. While Clement scored 26, Mossberg provided the biggest assist in the comeback effort, as he was the player who did the most. He had seven rebounds and five assists, which were team highs, to go with 18 points.
