After a tough first half that saw the two teams tied at 30 each, North Farmington made an offensive run and made big defensive stops in the second half, which they used to edge out the Panthers of River Rouge 62-51.
North Farmington
Late Run
While the Raiders of North Farmington were able to pull off the win, it took a second-half run for them to edge out River Rouge. Thirty-two of their 62 points were scored in the second half, with Tyler Sprat and Rob Smith leading the way with nine points in the second-half game. The opening run of the second half is what led the Raiders to the victory.
River Rouge
Can’t Find Their Groove
River Rouge could never find its groove in the game. While four players reached double digits, none were extremely dominant. Normally, Ke’Shawn Fisher would step up, and while he did that from the line, he was having a hard time finding his shot. Kendall Bentley did have it going in the first quarter but couldn’t get it going after that.
