Coldwater
In the Deep End
Coldwater has been back and forth between quarterbacks since the beginning of the season, so going into this game it was hard to tell who would be starting at the position. The Cardinals were able to put up 21 points against the Railsplitters but fell short of the win. Senior Quarterback Zach Coffing started and had three touchpasses with two of them going to Wide Receiver Dayton Ennis. Coldwater defense struggled mightily with penalties giving the Railsplitters free yards.

Riding the Tracks to Victory
At the start of the game it was hard to say who would pull off the win, but the Railsplitters rallied as a team. From opening up the scoring in the first quarter making it 7-0, to scoring two touchdowns in the final quarter the Railsplitters pulled off their first win of the season 34-21.
Swinging Their Axes.
Just like Abraham Lincoln splitting logs for the Railroads, Sophomore Quarterback Jacob Boykins split the Coldwater defense during homecoming weekend. The young Quarterback completed eight of his 14 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Boykins showing out for the Railsplitters. A player that you were watching on both sides of the ball was Junior Jamir King with 11 carries, 74 yards with two touchdowns on offense, switching over to the other side of the ball he had 7 tackles with a forced fumble and an interception. These two have helped guide the team on the right track.
