Week 7 Takeaways: Rockets Aren’t Cleared for Takeoff as the Tractors Run Rampant.

John Glenn and Fordson both came into this game hoping for the win, as they wanted a playoff game. The John Glenn Rockets entered this one at 3-3 and the Fordson Tractors at 4-2. Ultimately, the win went to the Tractors, and it gave them a better shot at the playoffs with a final score of 42-26.

John Glenn

Not Cleared for Takeoff

The Rockets came into week 7 headstrong. In the first half of the game, John Glenn capitalized on the offensive side of the ball. The Rockets were able to run the ball effectively, but they struggled in the passing game. On the defensive side, the Rockets struggled with the Tractors’ run game, which opened the field for key passing plays.

Fordson

Tractors Plowing their way to Playoffs

Fordson added to their win streak after Friday Night’s game, leaving them with a record of 5-2. The Tractors executed a good mix of the run and pass game early on. While their defense had some trouble in the first half, they were able to make game-changing adjustments after the half. They initially struggled with John Glenn’s running offense, although came out for the second half and made key stops. They were also able to force the rockets to turn the ball over for the Tractor’s offense. Because of that, Fordson took control of the clock and kept the Rocket’s offense off the field.

Run, Run Bandar

Khalil Bandar worked the defense this week. He had 14 rushes, 160 yards, and two touchdowns. He also racked up some stats on the defense side of the ball with 8 tackles. Bandar’s run game this week also allowed the passing game to be set up for the Fordson Tractors.

We also want to give a special thanks to our Fordson correspondent Taras “Big T” Terleckyj.
