Following a sluggish start to the game the Woodhaven Warriors came on strong midway through the first, and although Carlson made it close Woodhaven was too much as they beat Carlson 56-44.
After starting tied at seven the Warriors went on a 16-6 run to finish out the quarter. However, in the second quarter it was a different story as the Marauders held the Warriors to a nine point quarter on their way to a five point deficit heading to the half.
After the half the Marauders came out hot keeping pace with the Warriors holding them to consecutive nine point quarters. In the fourth quarter the shooting for Woodhaven returned as they were able to stretch the lead to nine before eventually finishing the game up twelve.
Player of the Game
Our players of the game go to both Jaishaun Williams who had 13 points and Elisha Warren who had 14. Willams played a lock down defense on Warren. However Warren was still able to find the basket, and get his.
Why don’t you mention how horrible that game was called tonight by the refs!
